Lupita Nyong'o has joined Christopher Nolan's next movie at Universal, which also stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Zendaya.

Nyong'o is best known for her variety of stellar roles in films such as Jordan Peele's Us, 12 Years a Slave, and Marvel’s Black Panther franchise. But this year, the star pulled at moviegoers' heartstrings with Universal's emotional animation The Wild Robot, and scared audiences silly in A Quiet Place sequel, A Quiet Place: Day One.

Nyong’o won an Academy Award for her performance in Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave and starred in Black Panther and its sequel, Wakanda Forever. In September, she released her intimate and joyous podcast, Mind Your Own, which navigates what it means to belong, told via the African perspective. The actress is repped by CAA and Del Shaw.
