There are only 14 more games left at the 2025 Little League World Series and on Tuesday, Aug. 19, four more elimination games will take place as the championship games get closer at Williamsport, Pa.

Day 5 began with a United States bracket game between Washington (Northwest region) and Massachusetts (New England). Bonney Lake, Washington edged Braintree, Massachusetts 3-2 to keep their championship hopes alive. Elsewhere, Canada scored a blowout win in the International bracket, routing Australia 12-0 in five innings.

The 2025 Little League World Series is officially off and running. Eight teams continue their quest to win it all in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday in the annual summer tournament. A new winner will be crowned in 2025, too, after last year's champion, Lake Mary, Florida, was eliminated in the regional round.

The Little League World Series baseball tournament continues today with Santa Cruz, Aruba, taking on Chinese Taipei in the international bracket.
