Newey is preparing to embark on a new adventure in the world of motorsport, having joined Aston Martin following his shock resignation from Red Bull last season.

Aston Martin may find themselves struggling more than they had anticipated in 2026 after their engine partner revealed difficulties in developing the power plant for the upcoming regulation changes. New chassis and engine regulations will come into effect in F1 for the start of the 2026 season as the current iteration of the rules is replaced with a new set of restrictions and rules that will govern the cars that appear on track.
