Fans of Resident Alien just got some bad news. On Thursday, July 24, Chris Sheridan, the creator and showrunner of the SyFy turned USA Network series, revealed to TV Insider that the show's currently-airing fourth season will be its last.

Despite critical praise, Alan Tudyk's Resident Alien and Strange New Worlds face cancellation due to budget and shifting network priorities.
