Union leaders for Air Canada’s flight attendants said members would return to work after a deal was reached to end a three-day strike that grounded hundreds of flights, hitting around 500,000 customers.

Prime Minister Mark Carney says he’s disappointed Air Canada and the union representing its flight attendants weren’t able to reach a deal after eight months of negotiations.

Hajdu said in an interview with The Canadian Press that she finds those claims “deeply disturbing.”
