I don’t believe they will take you on the tour with rain, it makes the sandstone too slippery. I would contact the tour company and ask about their weather policy for sure.

My family had previously done the same tour and loved it so much, they did it again with us. I don’t think you would regret doing the longer one. I can see if you chose the shorter one, you might regret and wish you did the longer one.
