I was surprised to see how big the museum was, - 2 floors - and and with lots of information. It gave a lot of information about the history of Fiji, but also about the culture of Fiji. I also went t…Full review by Ingeborg56

Getting confused with what is available whilst visiting Vita Levu....would like to do a tour to see as much as we can on the day whilst in port, definitely do not want to waste time seeing lagoons and waterfalls. Someone suggested we hire a taxi and haggle over price and maybe miss out on info or perhaps just do the self guided walk around town? We are due there on 29th April.

We docked at Lautoka on the other side of the island from Suva. We booked a 4-hour go wherever guide & driver from Go Local Fiji Transfers & Tours several weeks prior. We visited the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, a local market in Nadi where we had kava, and then just general sightseeing through the countryside. We were dropped off at a restaurant near the docks. They provide this service from both Lautoka and Suva. We were very satisfied with the service and the fixed price we knew in advance.
Hello. My daughter would like to find out more about Fijian art (particularly tapa-based) but we are only in Suva for one day (Monday 2 January) as we will be on a cruise. I wanted to make sure the museum is open and was wondering if there is a guide who could give her some information about your displays? Thank you.
